BIO – STANLEY BRONSTEIN

Stanley F. Bronstein

Attorney, CPA, Broker and Author Turned Life Coach, Artist and Athlete

A little over 47 years ago, Stanley was an 18 year old college freshman at the University of Texas who weighed close to 300 pounds.

Roughly 15 years later, his weight maxed out at 367 pounds when he was in Law School.

As recently as early 2009, he still weighed 320 pounds.

He now weighs in at 145 pounds. This was done with no drugs and no surgeries. Just hard work and determination.

He’s married; lives in Arizona, he’s a CPA, an attorney, an author; a professional walker (as he likes to call himself); and a catalyst for change who’s devoted his life to helping others to change their lives; to change their country and to change their world.

He has lectured extensively at the world class Canyon Ranch Spa in Tucson, AZ and other venues as well, where he lectures on the subjects of personal excellence, productivity enhancement, motivation, and change.

As you can see, Stanley’s made quite a few changes in his life . ..

Some people fear change . . . Stanley used to fear change.

Now he embraces it . . .

Why?

The answer’s simple.

Change is a necessary element of growth.

If we change we grow . . .

If we don’t change, we don’t grow . . .

We stagnate and begin to decay . . .

That’s the simple truth about change.

So, what got him to change?

As his 50th birthday approached, he decided enough was enough. He was tired of living a life of obesity and he  was going to do something about it. He decided it was time to step out of his comfort zone.

Since February 2009, Stanley’s dropped from a weight of 320 pounds to below 150. Believe it or not, he weighs less now than he did when he was 10 years old. His blood pressure has gone from 170 over 80 to 100 over 55. All of this without drugs or surgery. Now, roughly 15 years later, he’s incorporated permanent, lasting changes into his life. He’s no longer obese and he’s not going back.

He’s gone from a life of inactivity to walking 10 to 20 miles daily, some days he walks even more. He also rows daily. In 2012, he walked 32 marathons totaling more than 5600 miles. In 2013, he walked 30 marathons and broke 5800 miles. In 2014, he walked 5555 miles. He did it again in 2015 and he’s been going strong ever since.

Stanley has tracked his walking statistics since 2009.

Here’s a summary chart and a few details:

AS OF 09/30/2024

65,839.70 miles walked since 2009 ...

That's the equivalent of walking the circumference of the Earth, at the equator, approximately 2.644 times ...

He has walked 100 marathons (26.2 miles or more in one day) during that time

As you can see, change is possible . . .

But, that’s enough about Stanley. We’re here to talk about you.

Stanley believes that if he could change as much as he has, there’s no doubt that we can all change and our world can change as much as we want to . . .

The question is, do we want to?
